Target Back to School - 2025
Target + Knock
Lead 3D Artist | 3D Modeling | Material Development | Embroidery Simulation | Lighting & Rendering | Compositing | Procedural Workflow CreationTarget's Back-to-School campaign transformed stores into vibrant, immersive retail environments that celebrated creativity, learning, and self-expression. Working closely with Knock's designers and production teams, we translated 2D artwork into large-scale 3D installations, creating dimensional experiences that maintained the playful energy of the original designs while supporting the technical needs of fabrication and production.
As the lead artist on the project, I developed custom 3D assets, modeled retail display elements, and built scenes that brought the campaign to life. I also co-created a procedural embroidery workflow in Houdini that streamlined the creation of digital stitched embroidery for multiple assets, with the goal of capturing the tactile feel of real embroidery while improving consistency and reducing production time. In addition to my technical contributions, I mentored two artists throughout the project, helping maintain quality and efficiency across the campaign.
